Trip to Praděd
Praděd (1492 m) is the highest mountain of Hrubý Jeseník and Czech Silesia at all. Overall it is the fourth highest mountain in Czech Republic. There is the harshest climate. Year’s average temperature is 1 °C. On the top of the mountain is 162 meters high television transmitter whose upper platform is the highest (although man made) point of the Czech Republic. Path to the top is leading next to a mountain stream through beautiful nature.
Rejvíz - "moss lake"
Educational path starts at wooden hut where tourists can buy souvenirs besides entrance tickets. Along boardwalk path continues to Large moss lake. One can see the gradual change of plants composition according to the amount of peat in the soil – spruce disappearing and the onset of bog pine. Educational path ends at the Large moss lake and continues as tourists trail marked blue leading toward Jeseník.
